SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Rakhine State. Rain have been widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Kachin, Chin, Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region. Day temperatures were 2°C below April average temperatures in Kayah, Rakhine States, 3°C to 4°C below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, 5°C to 6°C below April average temperatures in Yangon, Bago, Magway Regions and Mon State, 9°C below April average temperature in Kayin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.0°C in Gangaw, 39.0°C in Shwebo, 38.9°C in Chauk, 38.5°C in Myinmu, 38.0°C in Nyaunglaybin, 37.7°C in Monywa, 37.4°C each in Nyaung Oo and Sagaing and 37.3°C each in Myingyan and Ye U on 12-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.39 inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), 2.32 inches in Phyarpon, 2.09 inches in Dadaye, 2.05 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), 1.77 inches in Okkan, 1.61 inches in Zalun, 1.58 inches in Mawlayinkyun, 1.42 inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), 1.26 inches in Chaungsone, 1.07 inches Einme and 1.04 inches in Ingapu.
BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Southeast Bay and Easecentral Bay and a few colud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
