SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State. Rain have been isolated in Shan (Nothern and Eastern) State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below April average temperatures in Yangon, Bago Regions and Kayah, Mon, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States, 3°C to 4°C below April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Chin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.5°C in Taungdwingyi, 38.7°C in Pyinamana, 38.4°C in Shwekyin, 38.0°C each in Kyaukse (Lunkyaw) and Taunggu, 37.8°C each in Taunggu (Aviation) and Chauk, 37.7°C in Magway and 37.5°C each in Yamethin, Thazi (Hlaingtat) and Kawkareik on 11-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.36 inches in Myeik, 2.24 inches in Bago, 1.69 inches in Kawthaung, 1.65 inches in Magway, 1.61 inches in Kyeikkhame, 1.57 inchies in Dawei, 1.46 inches in Hlegu, 1.27 inches in Mawlamyinekyun, 1.20 inches in Kyeitlat and 1.18 inches in Zalun.

BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Southeast Bay and Easecentral Bay and a few colud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be widespread in Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Kacin, Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
