SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, has been partly cloudy in Kayah, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. Rain have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 2°C below April average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and 4°C below April average temperatures in Bago and Magway Regions and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.8°C in Kawkareik, 39.2°C each in Shwekyin and Kalewa, 39.1°C in Nyaunglaybin, 39.0°C each in Shwebo and Ye U, 38.8°C in Bago, 38.6°C each in Gangaw and Myinmu, 38.4°C each in Chauk and Aunglan and 38.3°C in Hpa-an on 10-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.61 inches in Kyeikkhame, 0.90 inch in Danubyu, 0.65 inch in Bogale, 0.63 inch each in Phyarpon, Myaungmya, Daadaye and Labutta, 0.59 inch in Myeik and 0.58 inch in Nyaungtone.
BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 13:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal has weakened. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th April 2025: Rain will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
