SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Kayah, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, 3°C to 4°C above January average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Chin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.1°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 3.8°C in Heho, 4.6°C in Pinlaung, 5.0°C in Loilin, 6.0°C in Mongyang, 7.3°C in Tiddim, 7.4°C in Hakha, 8.0°C in Taunggyi, 8.4°C in Pyinoolwin and 8.5°C in Myitkyina.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rdJanuary 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
