BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm(Gaja) over Southwest Bay and adjoining West Central Bay of Bengal has moved West-Southwestwards and now lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (220)miles Southeast of Chennai(India) and about (245)miles Northeast of Nagapattinam(India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th November, 2018: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and Fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)mph. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of scattered rain or thundershowers in Shan State.
