8-9-2024:: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northwest and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move nearly Northwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Odisha- Gangetic West Bengal Coast, India) during next 24 hours.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Minimum Water Level Bulletin 

(Issued at 13:00 hrs M.S.T on 4-4-2020)

  1. According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (331) cm. It may rise about (½) foot above the present water level and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm during the frist (10) days of April.
  2. According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Minbu is (401) cm. It may rise about (½) foot above the present water level and may reach above its minimum alert water level (410) cm durig the frist (10) days of April.
