29-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and crossed Andhra Pradesh Coast, near South Kakinada, India. It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and downgrade into a Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify in to a depression during next (6)hrs and forecast to move North – Northwest wards. It is likely to intensify in to a Cyclonic Storm on (24.5.2021).

General caution

Due to the low pressure area, occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9- 13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
