24-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (18:30) hrs MST today, due to the influence of the low pressure area over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States with regionally heavy falls during next(72)hrs.
