23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

            According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to 
strong to vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Southeast and 
Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread 
to widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and 
Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls and 
isolated heavy falls with strong wind during today afternoon to (26.5.2022).

During this period, rain are likely to be (3)inches (77-mm) and above in

Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and

Mon States within (24)hours.

Occasionally squall with rough seas will be experienced in off and along

Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40-45) mph.

Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.

          Due to strong to vigorous monsoon, people should be awared

the heavy rainfall with strong wind, the natural disasters such as flash

flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and

domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama,

off and along Myanmar Coasts.
