30-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 695 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 115 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 110 Nautical miles East of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

    According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water levels of   Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay and Myinmu are observed as about (1) foot and at Sagaing is observed as about (½) foot below their respective danger levels. It may reach their respective danger levels during the next (3) days at Mandalay and Myinmu and next (2) days at Sagaing.                    

    According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of   Dokehtawady River at Myitnge is observed as about (½) foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (2) days.

   It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying area at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu and Myitnge to take precaution measure.
