30-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 695 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 115 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 110 Nautical miles East of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

   According to the (08:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water level of   Ayeyarwady River at Thabeikkyin and Nyaung Oo are observed as about (½) foot below their respective danger levels. It may reach their respective danger levels during the next (1) day at Thabeikkyin and next (2) days at Nyaung Oo.                    

   According to the (08:30) hrs M.S.T observations today, the water level of   Chindwin River at Mawlaik is observed as about (½) foot and at Monywa is observed as about (1½) feet below their respective danger levels. It may reach their respective danger levels during the next (1) day at Mawlaik and next (2) days at Monywa.

   It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying area at Thabeikkyin, Nyaung Oo, Mawlaik and Monywa Townships, to take precaution measure.
