26-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 770 Nautical miles Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal.

Flood condition of Sittoung River

     According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Sittoung River has exceeded by about (2½) feet at Madauk above its danger level. It may rise from the present water level about (½) foot during the next (2) days and may remain above its danger level.

Advisory

     It is especially advertised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Madauk to take precaution measure.
