28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain will be expected below normal in Bogo, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and about normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayin States.

Rainy days will be expected 6 to 8 days in Bogo and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and about 3 to 5 days in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States.
