13-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) still persists. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (8) miles northeast of Kamaing), latitude 25.63°N, longitude 96.77°E, depth (8) kilometers, about (44) miles west-northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (21) hr (43) min (51) sec M.S.T on 24^th December, 2020.
