11-12-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Preassure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Sri Lanka - Tamil Nadu Coasts, India, during next 12 hrs. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (30) miles southwest of Phyu), latitude 18.22°N, longitude 96.06°E, depth (14) kilometers, about (55) miles southwest of Taungoo seismological observatory was recorded at (18) hr (44) min (26) sec M.S.T on 19th December, 2023.
