21-12-2024:According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal continues has moved East-Northeastwards. It is centered at about 510 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Visakhapatnam (India). The centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30-35) miles per hour. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Depression Condition

According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha, India) moved Northwestwards and crossed North Andhra Pradesh Coast, close to Kalingapatnam (India). It is likely to move Northwestwards and may cross north Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha.
