Depression Condition
According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh Coasts(India) has moved West-Northwestwards and banding features of the depression is starting to cross Odisha Coast near South of Puri (India).
During next (24) hrs forecast
The Depression is likely continuing to move West-Northwestwards and may recach to Odisha and Chhattisgarh (India). It will weaken gradually into a Low Pressure Area during next (24)hrs.
General caution
Under the influence of depression, rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some Regions and States along with strong winds from tomorning to 21-7-2024. Occasional squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40-45 mph and wave height will be about 9-14 feet.

Under the influence of depression, people should be awared heavy rain with strong wind, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and also domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
