Land Depression
According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression has crossed West Bengal (India) and adjoining Bangladesh coast between Sagar Island and Khepupara reached to Land Depression and contionuously moved North-Northeastwards. It is forecast to weakend into Low Pressure area over Bangladesh during next (24)hrs.
General caution
Due to the Land depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavy falls and occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts during tonight to next (24)hrs.

Due to the depression, people should be aware heavy rainfall with strong wind, flash flood and landslide near the hilly areas and also small rivers.
