Deep Depression
According to the observations at (23:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over the Andaman Sea has crossed Andaman Island(India) near Port Blair and moved to West-Northwest wards and now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal . It is centred at about (145)miles Southwest of Coco Island, (270) miles Southwest of Hainggyikyun (Myanmar) and (40) miles Northwest of Port Blair(India).
The present stage of the Deep Depression is coded yellow stage. Although it is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, Coco-Island(Myanmar) will be dangeraous affected due to the banding features of the Deep Depression.

Deep Depression is located at Latitude (12.0) degree North and Longitude (92.2) degree East, centre pressure is (1000) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (40)miles per hour at (23:30) hrs MST today.
Forecast for next (12) hours
It is forecast to move Northwestwards and weaken into a depression during next (12)hours.
General caution
Due to the Deep Depression rain will be scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Thaintharyi Regions, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States with isolated heavy falls in some areas within next (72)hours commencing evening today.
Occassional Squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts.

Under the influence of Deep Depression, strong wind and untimely rainfall may occur during this time. Advisory for Domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially to notice in condition of the Deep Depression.
