SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T. During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Yangon Region and weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Chin and Rakhine States, (3°C) above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Putao, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) each in Pinlaung and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the North Bay and partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th February, 2015: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
