SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T. During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Rakhine State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Heho and Hakha, (4°C) each in Namsam and Pinlaung, (5°C) in Moekok.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th February, 2015: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of slight decrease of night temperature in the Eastern Myanmar areas.
