SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T. During the past (24) hours, light rain have been fairly widespread in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Chin State and fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Loilin, (5°C) in Hakha and (6°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Bhamo and Machanbaw (0.08)inch each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st February, 2015: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan State, weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight increase night temperatures in the Upper Myanmar areas.
