SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Napyitaw, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Bago Region and Mon State, (3°C) above January average temperature in Kayin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Heho, (3°C) in Pinlaung, (4°C) each in Putao and Loilin, (5°C) each in Namsam, Tongzan, Ramthlo and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th January, 2019: Light rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan State.
