21-12-2024:According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal continues has moved East-Northeastwards. It is centered at about 510 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 230 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Visakhapatnam (India). The centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (30-35) miles per hour. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy in the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy in the Andaman sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th May, 2015: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (Northern) and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
