Cyclonic Storm
According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the cyclonic storm “Mora” over East Central Bay of Bengal has moved to North wards and centered at about (160)miles Southwest of Sittwe, (150)miles Southwest of Kyaukphyu (Myanmar), (270)miles South-Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh). It is forecast to move North-Northeast wards and likely futher intensify into a severe cyclonic storm during next (12)hrs.
The present stage of cyclonic storm is coded Orange stage as it may move near the Rakhine coast, Myanmar.

Cyclonic Storm is located at Latitude (17.8) degree North and Longitude (91.4) degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (994) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (55 - 60)miles per hour at (13:30) hrs MST today.
Forecast for next (24) hours
It is expected to cross Coasts of Bangladesh near Chittagong during next (24) hours commencing noon today.
It will be maximum wind speed with (60) mph during the Cyclonic Storm is crossing the coasts of Bangladesh.
Frequently squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (45) m.p.h.
General caution
Under the influence of cyclonic storm, widespread rain or thundershowers in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Shan and Kayah States with strong wind, ragionally and isolated heavyfall during next (72) hours.
Advisory
Under the influence of cyclonic storm, strong wind, heavy rainfall, flash flood and landslide may occur during this time. Advisory for people living near high land areas, along Myanmar coasts, small river and streams is to take care of landslide and suddenly rise the rivers levels. Domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially to avoid in condition of the cyclonic storm.
