16-2-2026:  According to the observations at 13:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Low Pressure Area Condition

 (Issued at (14:00) hours M.S.T on (26- 07 -2019)

            According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area  has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal area of West Bengal.

General caution

            Under the influenced of low pressure area, occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast.
