23-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water Level Forecast for First (10) Days of October 2017

         The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (3 - 5) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, about (1 - 3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway and forecast to fall about (2 - 3) feet  at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the first (10) days of October.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (4 - 6) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin and about (2 - 4) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the first (10) days of October.
