(21.10.2020)  According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Central Bay of Bengal now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal. It is forecast to move initially Northwestwards then North- Northeastwards. Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of September 2020

     The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (3-5) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and about (1-3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, and to fall below the present water levels by about (2-4) feet at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway,  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

        The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (2-4) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
