14-9-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) have reached in the North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha coasts, India. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for First (10) days of October 2020

The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (1-2) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, and to rise above the present water levels by about (1-3) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (1-2) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and to rise above the present water levels by about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
