BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region, Shan and Kayah States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Rakhine State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely attimes Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet in Deltaic and Rakhine Coast and (4 - 6) feet in Gulf of Mottama and Mon - Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States.
