30-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 695 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 115 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 110 Nautical miles East of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression during next (12) hrs. It would intensify gradually into a Cyclonic Storm over Southwest Bay of Bengal on (3.12.2023).
