According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) over South Bay of Bengal has moved to Northwards slowly and further intensified into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN). It is centered at about (515)Nautical miles South of Paradadip (Odisha-India), about (595) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Digha(india), about (660) Nautical miles Southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh), about (450)Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco-Island and about (590) Nautical miles Southwest of Pathein (Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Cyclonic Storm(AMPHAN) is coded yellow stage.
