Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN)
According to the observations at (03:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) has crossed between Digha(West Bengal), India and Hatiyi Islands, Bangladesh and moved to North-Northeastwards. It is weaken into a Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) and lies at about (95) miles Northeast of Kolkta(India).

It is forecast continuously to move North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN) during next (6)hours.
Rainfall Forecast
Due to the Severe Cyclonic Storm (AMPHAN), rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Shan and Kayah States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States during next (24)hrs.
