Severe Cyclonic Storm Condition
According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh and adjoining North Tamil Nadu coasts has moved North-Northwestwards now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh and adjoining North Tamil Nadu coasts. It is centered at about (765) Nautical miles West of Coco Island, (825) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (90) Nautical miles North of Chennai, (15) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Nellore, (80) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Bapatla and (110) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Machilipatnam (India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” is coded yellow stage.

Severe Cyclonic Storm “MICHAUNG” is likely to move nearly Northwards almost parallel to South Andhra Pradesh coast and cross South Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Machilipatnam, close to Bapatla, India during next (12)hrs.
