SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past
(24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Sagaing Region and
Kachin State,fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Shan State, isolated in
Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine and Mon States with isolated heavy
falls in Mandalay Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining
Regions and States.Day temperatures were about April average temperatures
in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk
and (41°C) each in Myingyan, Naung Oo, Minbu and Magway. The noteworthy
amounts of rainfall recorded were Hakha and Falam (1.65) inches each,
Myingyan (1.57)inches, Kalaywa (0.87)inch, Gangaw (0.78)inch, Mawlaik (0.67)inch
and Kalay (0.63)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay
and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th April, 2015: Rain or
thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin and Chin States, isolated in
Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine
and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining
Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of
isolated rain or thundershowers in the Upper Myanmar areas.
