SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Sagaing, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan State with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about April average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (41°C) in Minbu. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Kawthong(3.11) inches, Putao (0.32) inch and  Mawlaik (0.19) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd April, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in the Upper Myanmar areas.
