28-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has almost stationary. It is centered at about 730 Nautical miles West-Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 265 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). The centre pressure of Deep Depression is 999 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 35-40 miles per hour.Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
