BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the Remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
