11-12-2024: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Preassure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Sri Lanka - Tamil Nadu Coasts, India, during next 12 hrs. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to the western disturbances and development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States from (2.4.2023) to (5.4.2023).

People should be awared development of convective clouds and untimely rainfall accompanied with strong wind, thunder,lightning strikes,lightning and hails.
