SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Bago Region, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions with isolated heavy falls in Magway Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) below March average temperature in Eastern Shan State and (3°C) below March average temperatures in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures was (39°C) in Gyobingauk. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Thayat (1.50) inches, Loikaw (1.10) inches, Phyarpon (0.78) inch, Zaung Tu (0.71) inch, Putao (0.39) inch and  Kengtung (0.32) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th March, 2015: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly wind may reach (35) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in the Upper Myanmar areas.
