25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

            Southwest Monsoon may advance into Northern Myanmar Areas on 1st  to 5th  of June.  A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal  Monsoon  will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

             Rain will be expected above normal in Sagaing,  Yangon, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States, about  normal in Naypyitaw,  Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah  and Kayin States,

            Rainy days will be expected 7 to 9 days in  Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions,  Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, 4 to 6 days in  Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay  Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States.
