SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershower have been isolated in Mon State, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Magway Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Tharrawady, Kyobinkauk, Bawlakhae and Theinzayet, (41°C) each in Aunglan, Pyay and Hinthada.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22th March, 2015: Light rain or thundershower are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%)
