4-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts still persist. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining off and along Northern Rakhine coasts, Myanmar and coastal area of Bangladesh on 5-11-2025. Weather is cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 18th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State.
