25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.1) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (17)miles east of Keng Tung ), latitude 21.26°N, longitude 99.86°E, depth (8)kilometers, about (18)miles east of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (23)hr (37)min (26)sec M.S.T on 21st July, 2022.
