SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South), Chin and Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Magway and Gangaw, (43°C) each in Monywa, Myinmu, Mandalay, Myingyan, Minbu, Taungdwingyi, Pauk and Sinphyugyun. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.28)inch, Kawthong (0.24)inch, Myeik (0.20)inch and Putao (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
