SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Kachin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South) States, (3°C) above April average temperatures in Kayah State, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (43°C) each in Minbu, Taunggu and Bawlakhae, (42°C) each in Naypyitaw (Yezin), Pyinmana, Magway, Taungdwingyi and Pyay. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.16)inch and Kawthong (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
