SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) below April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (3°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Zaungtu and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Dawei (0.35)inch, Myeik (0.24)inch and Launglone (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.
