SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Southern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, isolated in Magway Region and Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Eastern Shan States, (6°C) below April average temperatures in Northern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Bawlakhae and (39°C) in Kyaukse. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Tedim (1.26)inches, Minesat (1.22)inches, Mawlaik (0.86)inch, Mineyaung (0.83)inch, Hakha (0.79)inch, Falam (0.71)inch, Launglone (0.67)inch, Yay (0.63)inch, Moemate and Dawei (0.59)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th April, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
