SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Shan State, isolated in Mandalay Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Chin State, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Kayah States, (9°C) below April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Minbu, (40°C) each in Mandalay, Myingyan, Chauk, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Pauk, Taunggu, Bawlakhae and Lunkyaw. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (2.20)inches, Putao (1.73)inches, Paing Kyone (1.65)inches, Thipaw (1.23)inches, Moemate (0.63)inch, Myeik (0.55)inch, Kawkayeit (0.39)inch, Lashio and Kanbalu (0.35)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the East Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th April, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
