SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hrs, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Chauk, Aunglan and Bawlakhae, (40°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Taunggu, Zaung Tu, Tharrawady and Naunglaybin. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Hkamti (1.22)inches, Myintkyina and Moe Gaung (0.20)inch each, Moe Nyin (0.08)inch each, Lashio and Tamu (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
